"Titleist Pro V1x 2018 Left Dash Pristine Quality delivers a different combination of performance characteristics than Pro V1 and Pro V1x and allows players to fine-tune their flight, feel and spin. Designed for players seeking a high flight similar to Pro V1x with dramatically lower full swing spin and firmer feel."
Lower spin balls tend to fly further off irons and higher by design. The difference in balls is mostly feel and short game spin. If you normally chip or pitch the ball and it goes past the hole then a urethane ball would probably change that. Crossfield did a comparison, Wilson Duo Pro, Titleist Velocity and PV1.
Expand. “Before the 2017 Pro V1 came out, it really did spin less than the Pro V1x with irons. Maybe it spun a little more off the tee. But the new process in the 2017 Pro V1 really lowered that driver spin and increased speed to where throughout the bag, the Pro V1 spun less than the Pro V1x. It’s not entirely true.
If you want a higher trajectory, and the ability to stop the ball on the greens, the Pro V1x can do the trick. The Pro V1x is a higher compression golf ball than the Pro V1, part of this is because of the four layer construction of the Pro V1x. Inside the Pro V1x, you will find a new reformulated 2.0 ZG Process Dual Core.
Posted March 29, 2021. In my continuing saga to find the best ball for my game, I decided to hit some ProV1's (2019 version) on a few holes to see how it compared to my gamer - Maxfli Tour. Drive on hole #3 - first up was the Maxfli Tour and the ball was hit off the toe of my Mavrik driver. Seemed to get decent, but not great distance.

The Pro V1 offers a slightly better spin than the Srixon Z Star does. However, the difference is minimal and will only matter to pro golfers. It will also be noticeable any anyone who is precise about this little detail. This ball, however, does have a slightly more stopping power on the relatively shorter irons.
Both the AVX and the Pro V1 give golfers the ability to fine-tune the ball to their player profiles. This is something worth paying for! Even though these three models of golf balls from Titleist (AVX, Pro V1 & Pro V1x) are some of the most expensive, they are also the most popular. That in and of itself should prove some of the value.
The Pro V1x golf ball delivers a maximum distance off the tee and more ball speed, with a firmer feel and a higher flight. The Pro V1x golf ball is best suited for golfers with faster swing speeds, whereas the Pro V1 is more versatile and suitable for a wide range of golfers.
I've always liked the x more during cold or wet weather (needing more carry versus roll, less spin off irons) while the pro v is better for me when it's firmer or faster. Ironically the inforgraph linked in another comment doesn't fit my iron spin experience. I do find the x firmer and pro v softer, as a scratch player
